Obituary for Adeline Dischley

Adeline Dischley
Adeline Dischley, 98, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on the Feast of the Assumption August 15 2022. Our family is deeply saddened by the loss of such a great woman who was the matriarch of our family. She was very happy and always loved a celebration. She enjoyed music and dancing, she liked playing on her electronic piano. She would crochet outfits and blankets for her grandchildren and even the great grandchildren. When there was a shower you could be assured grandma would make beautiful chocolate covered strawberries and favors. She loved to bake and cook especially on the holidays. She was devoted to her husband Jack who passed away in 1990. A loving mother to her two daughters Diana and late husband Marcy and Catherine and son in law Jerry. She was cherished by her 5 grandchildren Jackie(Billy), Dennis(Chris), John(Karen), Freddy(Erica) and Darlene(Andrew). She was “Nanny” to her 12 great grandchildren. She was also known as “Dolly” and “Addie”. She touched so many lives over her 98 years. Adeline lived a life of faith and was fiercely devoted to her family and friends. Her gentle spirit and kindness will be missed. She may have left this earth but will never leave our hearts.
