Anthony J.  Italiano
Anthony J. Italiano of Smithtown and formerly of Hauppauge and Brooklyn, NY passed away on August 31, 2022. He was born on November 18, 1930, the son of Sarah Fiumara and Giuseppe Italiano, both first generation immigrants from Sicily, Italy. Tony, as he was known to friends and family, was extremely proud of his Italian heritage, his family, his service in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict, and his contributions to Grumman Aerospace, among them the E2 Program, ILS Department and Marketing for the Corporation, over a 40 year career with the company. In addition to his wife Barbara (Wahn) and his former wife Geraldine, he is survived by his daughter Maryann and her husband Daniel, and three sons Joseph and wife Vanessa, Thomas, and Anthony. He was also loved dearly by his five grandchildren Valentina, Victoria, Vanessa, Lily and Anthony and his great-grandson Sullivan.
