The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of George Emmons can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence From: Paul Farinella
Condolence: Maureen,
The COL Theodore Roosevelt MOWW chapter of NY mourns the passing of George. His positive demeanor on life and unselfish giving and support have helped the chapter grow these past 11 years. George was a true believer in practicing the motto of MOWW. “ It is nobler to serve than to be served. “ We will never forget his sage advice and dedication to completing a mission. May he Rest In Peace with the knowledge that there were many lives that he had positively influenced as a military officer and loyal companion over his many years of service.
