Condolence: I was one of the lucky ones that knew Magdalen for a life time. I first met her working side by side with her husband Stanley running the Oceanside Recreation Roller Skating program in the early 60's. Maddy and Stan were world class skating partners and shared their expertise, knowledge and wisdom onto hundreds of people in the program. They choreographed many roller skating shows entertaining the families of Oceanside. We have been friends ever since sharing the good times and sad. Magdalen is the type of person everyone wanted as a wife, mother, sister, relative and friend. You could not ask for a better person and I was proud to be part of the Brekne family. Until we meet again!
