The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of William Knust can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Dad's Quotable Quotes

Dad enjoyed quotes he would hear from time to time... One of his favorite Art Linkletter quotes was: "Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out." Posted on his workbench: "Aim for service, not success--and success will follow." That about sums up my dad in a nutshell... Of course, he has spoken several of his own notable quotes...a few just from the last couple of years: While helping him into the car about a year ago, he had to squeeze between some stored items and the car...He said, "I'm ok...being skinny is one of things I still have." Also, when pushing him in the wheelchair to see company in the living room, he said..."well, I will either be late or early for tomorrow!" I told Dad, I will gladly use the electric knife to cut the meat, but I don't want to take your job away from you...He said, "that's ok, I don't get paid for that job anyway." Dad sneezed loudly and said, "Wow...a blast from the past!" My mom said, Bill, before you go out don't forget to use the bathroom! Dad said, "I just came out; don't throw me back in there!"
