Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Emanuel Zarb can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Life Story for Emanuel Zarb

Emanuel  Zarb

Emanuel ‘Mimi/Mike’ Zarb, age 85 of Bluffton, SC and formerly of Smithtown, NY passed away on May 2, 2019 at Coastal Carolina Hospital, Hardeeville, SC.
Mimi was born in Astoria, NY on August 15, 1933, to the late Joseph Zarb and Mary Xuerub Zarb.
Mimi was a retired Electrician and a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local Union 25. He was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church in Commack, NY. Mimi’s hobby was flying radio control model airplanes and he was an avid Mets fan.
Mimi was preceded in death by his wife Cecelia Zarb and is survived by his sons, Steven Zarb (Jenine) and Anthony Zarb (Shannon); his daughters, Terry Karmel (David), Kathy Boccia (Frank) and Lorry Scala and six grandsons.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 16, 2019 from 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Hawkins & Davis Funeral Home, 17 Manor Road, Smithtown, NY. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Christ the King Church, 2 Indian Head Road, Commack, NY 11725 at 10 am on Friday, May 17, 2019, and the burial will follow at Calverton National Cemetery, 210 Princeton, Blvd., Calverton, NY 11933.
